Any honest person will tell you that the best sort of good fortune is the kind you fall in to back assward.
If you analyze good fortune closely, you might seek out a feeling of karmic reward, but it’s usually just persistence. If you want to be in the right place at the right time, you need to actually be somewhere–all the time.
And so, my preturnatural gift for showing up has been rewarded.
I am back in Chengdu, and will start–as the post cryptically announces–“something new.” I’ll get to the details later, but suffice it to say that it is a very different world than the cooking school that I finished a few weeks back.
